You have the option for your home page to be a landing/website page like djangify.com or to contain your shop only. Your products will be displayed on the page. If you decide to have your shop as the home page there are sections available that you can use to style this page. These sections ONLY APPEAR if shop is selected as your home page.
Go to the SHOP section in the menu on the left and at the very end you will see Shop Settings.
Click to get to that area and click on Shop Settings link to open the page.
Hero Section
You can add a hero section with text, a button to link to a product and some information. You also have the option to include an image which appears on the right.
Intro Section
Complete this if you want a title with text as an introduction to your site. You may use the hero section text to introduce your site but if you want to add more here is the space to do it.
Product Spotlight
This is a two column area with a light background. You can add an image of your product and some text about the product along with a button linking directly to the sales page.
Section Ordering
Some of your sections can be placed in different orders and you can do that in this section. Zero appears at the very top and the larger the number the further down the page your content appears.
Promo Blocks
The page lets you set up Shop Promo Blocks. They are a set of 3 columns. You can include a small icon image, a title and text. This is the area where you decide if you want to show them. Click or unclick the box.
Display Options
Here you can choose how many products to show on the page.
You can decide to show all products or just products under a specific category or featured only products.
Display category: You must have categories already set up for this to work. Decide on which category you want to display and select it.
Shop Promo Blocks
These are the equivalent to the three column blocks that appear in the PAGES area. They give you one row with three columns. You can add an image, title and text into each one. You can also number each one so one block might be 2 and appear at the top of the page. another block might be 6 and appear further down the page. etc
