Dec 25, 2025 — "The Commit That Started It"
Today's date matches the initial commit: 171 files, all at once. Christmas Day.
My kids were with their partners' families, which is exactly where they should be. Christmas is just another day for me when I'm on my own anyway - no different to any other day. So I built.
This is the first real commit of what became Djangify's ecommerce builder, not a demo, a working shop system in one push. I remember thinking that was the hard part done. It wasn't.
There's a lot more work to do.
